Join for us for the first Light Up Peterhead Santa & Elves Fun Run!
Dress as Santa, Mrs Claus or even an Elf, why not come “lit up” with glow sticks or fairy lights?!
With your help we will transform the Town centre into a festive de-“light” for everyone to enjoy!
Spot prizes will be given for the best dressed and lit up participants.
This is a fun run, and not a race. It is open to all, whether you run, walk or crawl. It's all about taking part, having fun, and creating a spectacle in our town centre before the Light Up Vehicle Parade! so you won’t miss a thing!!
The event will be family friendly, and we would love to see people of all ages, running, jogging and walking the route. Children under the age of eleven must be accompanied (within arm's reach) throughout the event by a parent, guardian or appropriate adult of the parent's choice.
Starting from the Queen Street/ King Street junction - the route heads down through the town centre to Chapel Street then on to Marischal Street and Errol Street, turning at the Muckle Kirk . It returns along the same route back to the Queen Street/ King Street Junction.
Every signed-up participant will receive a medal at the finish.
Entry costs £5.00 per person or a Family of 4 Costs only £15.00.
Children under 5 are welcome to join in free, so long as they are accompanied
